Rosemary, thyme, coriander, sage, to mention a few. Getting to know the scents with eyes closed and enjoying the taste at the end of the day. Careful hands tend to the herbs in our own herb garden, so that the scents develop and reveal the finest aromas as fresh, tasty herbs on your plate.

We now cultivate one-year and multi-year herbs and herbal flowers directly in the garden of the Löwen.

The Heckengäu: Home country for man and nature
Since November 2002, the Heckengäu with its concept of regional development oriented on natural protection has been included in the state-wide sponsorship program PLENUM (State Project for the Preservation of Nature and the Environment). PLENUM supports projects that have particularly positive and sustainable effects on our nature and environment through utilisation and cultivation closely oriented on nature. The broad range of sponsored projects represents a colourful mix of topical fields from natural protection, soft tourism, agriculture and forestry to environmental education.

A cooperation of gastronomes from the South, who stand for high-quality products. The Löwen and its team are an active partner of Taste the South. You can surely also find some of our recipes there. We wish you good luck for cooking them yourself and enjoy your meal.
